Thursday April 5, 2007 we started a brand new program, the Alpha Course, (a non threatening introduction to the Christian Life).  This is a very good and understandable way to learn more about God and living the Christian life for the young and old alike and has been used successfully around the world for many years.  

Our faciliatator was one of our Executive Board members Glenn Davis, who has had many years of experience teaching the Bible and has been to Isreal a number of times on archeological digs.  He was the superintendant of a Christian School in Bangor for many years. Glenn and his wife Janice own and operate the Kings Hill Inn and are both very involved at His Place Teen Center and in the Oxford Hills community.

Thursday May 1, 2008 

Our faciliatator this year will be Sam Maruca, from the former "New Life For Girls" Ministry and a very knowledgable Bible teacher in his own right. 

This starts at 6:30 PM with a meal.  At about 7:15 we will show (2)-20 minute DVDs.  At about 8:00 we will have a small break, then everyone will join together to discuss and ask questions about the DVD presentation we just watched.
